Community Based Learning Program Helps with Community Easter Egg Hunt

Community Based Learning (CBL) is a program that students participate in where they do work in the community. Some of the tasks are completed outside of school, but there are some jobs that are done in the classroom. One of these classroom responsibilities is the filling of 2,000 Easter eggs for the Mercer Community Easter Egg Hunt. Students are to put one sticker, one toy, and one piece of candy in each egg. When all of the eggs are filled the students drop the eggs off at The Chapel in Mercer. This is the third year that the students have participated in this community project.
