Speech Results from 42nd Mercer Invitational

On Saturday, January 30th Mercer High School hosted the 42nd Annual Mercer Invitational, sponsored by the Mercer Rotary Club. More than 220 speakers from 18 high schools throughout western Pennsylvania competed in this one-day event. Overall, the Mercer Speech Team earned 1st place honors, beating North Allegheny by 17 points and Upper Saint Clair High School by 26 points. There were twelve Mercer speakers that advanced to the final round in their respective categories. Here are the results:
