mercer students PLACES in slippery rock university social media competition  

Congratulations to senior Alex VanWoert & sophomore Sierra Atkinson on winning the drawing contest in the Slippery Rock University Social Media Competition. 

The Winners’ drawings will be featured throughout the summer on @sruarts as #srudrawwinners.

Students in grades 7 - 11 will not be permitted to bring backpacks to school this Thursday (June 1st). 

Any student that brings a backpack to school will have to leave it in the main office until dismissal.

SPRING BAND CONCERT THIS WEEK!!!

The Mercer Middle-High School Spring Band Concert will take place this Tuesday (May 23rd) in the High School Auditorium @ 7:00 p.m.

Students in grades 7-12 will participate in the Middle School Band, High School Concert Band, and the Wind Ensemble throughout the concert. 

Members of the class of 2017 will also be recognized 
during the concert.

DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY


The Induction Ceremony for the 18th class of the Mercer High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame was held this past Wednesday (May 17th).

This year's inductees included 
Mr. Cedric Butchy (class of 1968) and 
General Alexander Hays (class of 1836).
