Students for Charity Hosts Fundraiser for the United Way

The Mercer Students for Charity organization is currently hosting a fundraising campaign that benefits the United Way of Mercer County. Students are given a "Live United" t-shirt and asked to use that as their fundraising object. For those that donate at least $1.00 to the program, they are permitted to sign the shirt. The ultimate goal for each member of the Students for Charity is to collect 100 signatures, thus earning $100.00. The campaign is behind held from January 28th to February 25th. The United Way of Mercer County is largely responsible for providing funds for programs such as: Success by Six, Children's Aid Society, Boy Scouts of America, Brandy Springs Park, and Mercer Library.
