The Mercer 5M Band will host their Annual Band Show this Saturday, September 17th in the High School Stadium @ 7:00 p.m.

Marching Bands from Highlands High School, Lincoln High School, Reynolds High School, & Sharon High School will join Mercer in performances throughout the evening. 

Tickets are $4.00 for adults & $2.00 for students.

Families will have an opportunity to meet their student's teachers throughout the evening.

Game Date Change

Good afternoon.

The Lakeview @ Mercer Varsity Football game originally scheduled for this Friday, August 26th has been moved to Saturday, August 27th @ 1:00 p.m. per the request of the Lakeview School District.

The game will still be played @ Mercer High School.

"Meet the Mustangs" on August 24th

Mercer Middle-High School’s annual “Meet the Mustangs” Night will be held on Wednesday, August 24^th, 2016.

“Meet the Mustangs” will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Football Stadium. All fall varsity sports teams (Football, Boys’ & Girls’ Soccer, Girls’ Volleyball, Boys’ & Girls’ Cross Country, Golf, and the Cheerleading squad), middle school sports teams (Boys’ & Girls’ Cross Country, Football, Soccer, and the Cheerleading squad) and the High School Marching Band will be introduced.

Season tickets for Football and Girls’ Volleyball will also be sold from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

In the event of inclement weather, “Meet the Mustangs” will be held in the High School Gymnasium.

Middle School Mentor Program

Letters were mailed home in mid-July to 11^th & 12^th grade students that would potentially be interested & willing to serve as a mentor to a middle school student (7^th or 8^th grade) throughout the 2016-2017 school year. 

Students would meet 2-3 times per month during the Advisory period at the end of the school day to discuss different topics (transition from the elementary school to the middle-high school, progress in classes on their schedule, participating in extracurricular activities, personal hobbies/interests, etc.).

11^th & 12^th grade students that participate in the mentor program can potentially earn community service/volunteer hours towards their senior project.

If you are interested in participating in the mentor program please fill the information sheet at the bottom of the letter or stop in the middle-high school office by Friday, August 19, 2016.

7th Grade Orientation

All incoming 7th grade students & their families are invited to join us for an orientation evening on Tuesday, August 16th, 2016.
 
The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the middle-high school auditorium.
 
Information packets that include class schedules, information cards for the main office & health room, and student handbooks will be available during the program. Key items from the middle-high school student handbook and other information regarding the transition to the middle-high school will be discussed.
 
Finally, families will have the opportunity to take a tour of the building and walk through a student's schedule.
 
Families that are unable to attend the orientation evening may pick up their information packets in the Guidance Office from Wednesday, August 17th until the 1st day of school (Monday, August 29th).
